Welcome to season 2019

2019 is the 31st season of Meraloma Cricket and the club continues to grow and prosper in all forms, including women’s, mini, kanga, junior hardball and senior BCMCL. Our junior hardball program has now expanded into two teams: one in the under-13 and one in under-16 BCMCL league.  In 2019, we have four teams in the senior British Columbia Mainland Cricket League (BCMCL). The Meraloma Cricket Club is part of a Meraloma Club which in 2019 is celebrating 96 years of operation.  

We are looking forward to another great season of cricket and a number of great social events are planned right through the year including our annual Club Celebration and Alumni Day on Saturday July 13th. We will have more information on this event and other events shortly.

Practices have already started at our Connaught Park nets, with the schedule as follows:

  • Women’s: Mondays from 6pm

  • Junior Hardball: Tuesdays, Thursdays from 5pm

  • Minis and Kanga: Wednesdays from 6pm

  • Senior Men’s

    • Tuesdays from 6pm – 3rd & 4th squads

    • Thursdays from 6pm – 1st & 2nd squads

  • One-on-one & pickup coaching – all squads – Friday 5pm.

  • Fitness and fielding (women’s and men’s) – Sundays from 11am.

For our women’s and senior men’s teams we have been using the Teamo app to coordinate and communicate. Please install it on your phone and register for Meraloma Cricket - https://www.teamo.chat/club/register/lomas.

To all of you that are new to the Meraloma Cricket Club  – welcome to your new cricketing family that will a part of your life for many years to come! And to all our returning players and parents: welcome back!
